Descripción

En este juego de cartas de creación de héroes, de 1 a 4 jugadores compiten para obtener la puntuación de Destino más alta mientras cooperan para derrotar al Adversario. Al igual que en el Call To Adventure original, Epic Origins es un juego de construcción de tableau donde los jugadores eligen cartas, lanzan runas y superan desafíos para ganar puntos de victoria.

Para los jugadores familiarizados con el sistema de juego de Call To Adventure, Epic Origins introduce un tema de alta fantasía inspirado en los clásicos RPG de exploración de mazmorras. El nuevo tipo de carta de Herencia ofrece opciones como Elfo, Mediano y Enano. Las cartas de Clase te permiten invertir Experiencia para "subir de nivel" a tu personaje. Temas y desafíos de alta fantasía se pueden encontrar en más de 150 cartas únicas del juego.

Este juego también presenta un modo de juego en Solitario y Co-Op renovado. Los Adversarios de doble cara ofrecen un desafío en evolución: enfréntate a un Adversario de nivel inferior al final del Acto II, luego al Adversario Final al final del Acto III. En el Modo Campaña, los jugadores pueden desbloquear nuevas cartas al derrotar a cada nuevo Adversario. El juego incorpora más recompensas para el juego cooperativo mientras sigue incentivando el logro individual.

Aunque los puntos deciden al ganador del juego, Call To Adventure fomenta la narración al final del juego. Epic Origins también incluye una guía para convertir tu tableau final en un personaje de la 5ª Edición de D&D.
