Cultistorm is a Cooperative Weird Horror Card Game set in the universe of H. P. Lovecraft. Players assume the roles of investigators working for a special department of the Massachusetts Bureau of Investigation and Miskatonic University. They must work together to stop the cultists' schemes, whose aim is to summon their masters, residing in cosmic space and time, into our world through an open dimension portal. Each player chooses an investigator with a special ability and draws two equipment cards, keeping only one. During each turn, one or more cultists appear on one of the five location cards. Players decide who fights the cultists and where, using their action deck, special abilities, and an investigation die. If an investigator defeats a cultist, they receive a magical trophy and can draw another combat card. If there are too many cultists in a location, a portal to another world opens, and a Great Old One appears. Victory is only possible if all five locations are sealed before the cultist deck runs out or if the summoned Great Old Ones are defeated.
