Descripción

Star Scrappers: Cave-in es un juego para 2 a 4 jugadores que asumen roles de emprendedores galácticos - algunos de los jefes mineros rivales que compiten en esta difícil, a veces incluso despiadada, industria. Tu trabajo es excavar los cristales Hexis.

El objetivo del juego es obtener la mayor cantidad de puntos de victoria posible antes de que la mina colapse.

Para superar a tu competencia, tendrás que reclutar trabajadores mercenarios, utilizar sus habilidades y recolectar artefactos preciosos. Sin embargo, ¡tendrás que estar siempre atento! Tu competencia solo está esperando una oportunidad para comprar a tus hombres de confianza y robar la recompensa de debajo de tu nariz.

En cada turno puedes realizar dos de las cuatro acciones posibles:

reclutar mercenarios
enviar mercenarios a recolectar cristales
enviar mercenarios a encontrar artefactos
usar la acción especial de un mercenario elegido

La mecánica de Cave-in se puede describir como un "juego de construcción de descarte". Con cada acción, los jugadores ponen mercenarios en su descarte. Ahora, el orden del descarte también importa, porque tu carta descartada superior te da una acción especial al comienzo de tu próximo turno. ¡Pero cuidado! Si tu descarte se vuelve demasiado interesante, otro jugador puede renunciar a todo su turno solo para robar el descarte de ti.

El jugador que recolecte más puntos de victoria gana, y eso se puede lograr de varias maneras:

cada cristal da algunos PV
algunos artefactos mejoran tu colección de cristales
conjuntos de símbolos de facciones
proteger tu trofeo de facción e intentar robar los trofeos de otros jugadores

Por último, recuerda: no importa quién sea el mejor minero, sino el mejor conspirador.
